This is a great little cafe tucked into a strip mall in Ahwatukee.
They are not completely vegan as they have some breakfast items with eggs and some of the meals have cheese.
However, you have the option of tofu or eggs and vegan cheese or dairy cheese. They have just expanded their hours and now stay open until 8pm with three daily dinner specials along with their lunch menu. Additonally, they serve brunch, which sounds delicious.
For lunch, they have an extensive menu of salads, wraps, sandwiches and bowls along with several daily specials. They always have a daily quesadilla and pomegranate burger, I have tried the southwestern burger and curried bean burger, both were really tasty. I also tried the Mediterranean Wrap which was very fresh and tasty. Their lunch specials come with your choice of daily side, which varies, I have tried the tomato soup which was good. Their pomme frites, potato coins with their special barbeque sauce is also really good.
We also tried dinner, I had the mushroom barley risotto, which I loved, I must try to mimic this one at home. My husband had the special spaghetti and “meat” balls which he enjoyed. My daughter had the smoking BLT, she loved the tempeh bacun but thought the aioli needed more of a kick.
They also have several raw options and quite a few gluten free choices. Additionally, they offer espresso, smoothies, and juices. And the best part, delectable desserts, the raw tiramisu and almond joy bars were incredible.
This place has something for everyone, fresh, bountiful options and delicious food, if you are near Ahwatukee, you really must check them out!
