I didn’t use to be a juice person (at all), and I still don’t like expensive, pre-made juices that you find at the grocery store. However, I am really into creating my own juice blends with my fancy schmancy juicer that my parent’s so graciously gave me for Christmas (I will review on a later post). There are several different recipes on here – give one a try – I added a yellow pepper and tomatoes to this one (which was a first). Spicy vegetable juice, yum.
This makes 1 large juice (it didn’t all fit in the cup) or if you have someone that will share your juice making adventures – 2 smaller servings!
Ingredients:
- 4 carrots
- 3 celery stalks
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green apple
- ½ cucumber
- 3 small tomatoes
- 1 large chunk ginger (I looove ginger, if you don’t use a smaller piece)
- a few dashes of Cholula (if desired)
Directions:
- Juice all ingredients (except Cholula), serve immediately
